Graceful as the birds in motion
Gliding like the gulls over the ocean
Lovely hula hands, kou lima nani e.
Lovely hula hands
Telling of the rains in the valley
And the swirling winds over the pali
Lovely hula hands, kou lima nani e.
Hui:
I can feel your soft caresses of your hula hand
Your lovely hula hands
Every little move expresses so I'll understand
All the tender meaning.
Of your hula hands
Fingertips that say aloha
Say to me again I love you
Lovely hula hands, kou lima nani e...
HRH- you did a good research on those meaningful Hawaiian names. Manong Wike/Vic- Mahalo Nui Loa for that classic Hawaiian Wedding Song. Kabagyan Sammy, Brother Archie- just let me know when you're planning to be here one day. I just have to be truthful, I don't have enough vacation hours as of now. I used most of them the past 3 months. Mafi Mushkila Sadik Sonny. It doesn't matter whether you're fluent or not in Arabic. Still, you're doing a fine job down there and here at the AMB. Well, SLU became my "hang-out" at one time because I was hooked into this law of magnetism- unlike poles attract each other. Confused? Please, let it remain that way. And yes, Manong Carlo Gancenia was so good of an athlete. It was just too sad he wasn't discovered by any sponsor or coach and nortured to live to his fullest potential. Regarding the 2x2s and 4x4s, I had tried those too. But I couldn't last long. I'm so glad, you, Manang Juliet and Ms Maui Girl, are very welcoming and generous as always. Of course! I'm here at your service whenever our dear kakailians decide to drop by and visit our islands. Last May, Manang Juliet, I and some of our good Asinganians were on Maui. Haleakala, 10,000 ft above sea level was just breath-taking! Ane, ading,I mean it literally and figuratively. Manang Polly, I thought I could handle the cold up there, but boiy, oh, boiy! I was wrong! Buddy Vidal and I were wearing shorts and T-shirts only. When we were up there, I couldn't even open my mouth anymore! My teetch were clicking involuntarily! How you like dat? Buddy and I ran back into the van and turned on the heater to the absolute temperature of hell (in exaggeration, of course!). Ah, I have said so much. I have to go now and I apologize if all you hear from me again next time is silence. So take good care now my beloved kakailians and keep on posting whenever you can and wherever you are. Me Ke Aloha Pumehana to all of you, meaning with the warmth of my love I leave to all of you.
